Getting started
You need two phones: iPhone, Android, or one of each. On the phone in the baby's room, choose Camera mode. On the phone you keep with you, choose Viewer mode and scan the QR code shown on the camera phone once — after that the phones remember each other and reconnect automatically.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need both phones on the same Wi-Fi?
No. Local mode is free and works on the same Wi-Fi with no internet at all. Remote viewing (Pro) lets the viewer phone watch from anywhere over cellular or a different network, end-to-end encrypted.
Is the video recorded or stored anywhere?
No. Your camera and microphone streams travel directly between your own devices and are never recorded or stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy.
How do alerts reach me?
However you choose. The viewer phone can alert you with sound, vibration, both, or just a glowing screen — so you can keep the room silent if you want, or make sure a sound reaches you. Set it in Settings, where you can also adjust noise and motion sensitivity and turn on low-battery and lost-signal alerts.
The viewer can't find the camera phone.
Make sure both phones are on the same Wi-Fi for local mode, that the app has Local Network permission (Settings → Ninna), and that the camera phone is awake and in Camera mode. For remote viewing, confirm the viewer has an internet connection and an active Pro subscription.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by the store where you purchased Ninna. On iPhone, use Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, go to Account → Delete Account. This permanently erases the account data we hold for you. Your App Store or Google Play subscription must be cancelled separately (see above).
Battery and overnight use
Keep the camera phone plugged in for overnight monitoring. Position cables safely and well out of a child's reach — never inside or near a crib.
